The end of that game was BS. Yes, Finley was not set, but the game was not over when the ball was snapped as Hochuli said.

Yeah, but even if it was in time (which it was) the "false start" would have required a 10 second run off, so it didn't matter.

I get this sinking feeling of 2008 all over again. After last weeks O line woes and a again this week..... It may just be the beginning of a long season again.

I'm going to come out and say this right here and now: If Mike McCarthy doesn't come out next week with some sort of true West Coast-style scheme to keep the pressure
off Rodgers, I -- yes, I! -- am going to start calling for his head.
Screw the run.
Get back to what worked in 2007, when we passed to set up the run.
My patience with McCarthy is fraying rapidly.
His bullheadedness is off-putting.
Who cares if he so desperately wants to be a run-first team?
The point of coaching is to win -- not to force your imprint upon the team.

Such a disappointing game from Green Bay. The other team has 48 penalties, turns the ball over twice, and it still didn't matter.
Run defense was embarrassing today. We had a fair share of penalties ourselves. Rodgers had little time, and when he did he didn't get rid of the ball (this is one of those critiques that requires seeing the rest of the field -- we don't know if he had anywhere to go with the ball).
Just an embarrassing game. Everyone will make the storyline about how close the end was. Fuck that. We didn't show up for the better part of the game.

The run/pass ratio was heavily in favor of the pass. The problem is execution. Same problem as last week: 2nd and LONG, 3rd and LONG. What about the dropped passes last week and this week? What about some of Rodgers' decision making (went for Favre-like Hail Mary when he should have hit Jordy).
The Packers' problems on offense go FAR beyond playcalling. They're not getting it done at any level.

Yeah, what happened to all the slant passes and short passes? We're always trying to go deep and it's not working now that we're out of the preseason.

I don't know about that!
There would be a lot of wasted beer on his jersey.
