Establishing a run first game with Ryan Grant and that offensive line will never work. I mean, really, a team with the alleged deepest recieving corps in the league can't find the middle-groud slant/in-route west coast offense?

I know what you're saying. If anything, they looked even worse than they did last year. Just a total mess in all three phases of the game. Very few bright spots. I think Rodgers did okay under the circumstances. Woodson had some big plays, but he had a huge missed tackle o a third down toward the end there.

I'm trying to put this loss into perspective. I haven't found it yet. The offensive line was a disaster. That's the worst part about it.

Can't wait to read the press transcript so I can read how Mccarthy realizes the weak points and they will work on them during the week; just like all last year.
If ryan grant would have sat out on the play that he fumbled we would have won.
Theres other small things that would have resulted in a win as well, but thats the one that sticks out to me and right after it happened I knew the game was over.
I would really like to see a strong running game someday, but the o-line will have to improve first and even then I dont think grant would be great.
I see him as a mediocre at best running back even with a good o-line
